  • CAJUN CLASSIC WHEELCHAIR TENNIS TOURNAMENT: 8 a.m., Paula G. Manship YMCA, 8100 YMCA Plaza Drive. Admission to the tournament is free. The games last through the evening until matches are completed.
  • YOUTH PEACE OLYMPIC’S VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION: 8 a.m. to noon, Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 185 Eddie Robinson Drive. Volunteers will meet to discuss the event that will occur April 25-26. www.youthpeaceolympic.eventbrite.com.

  • MY BROTHER’S KEEPER MENTOR TRAINING: 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Greater First Church, 4669 Groom Road, Baker. The free training is for men of color 18 and older as part of a White House initiative to help mentor males of color ages 6 to 25. (225) 778-4788.

  • ZFEST: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., 20101 Old Scenic Highway, Zachary. The festival will include art, music, BREC’s Children Village, a 1-mile fun run and 5k, a fashion show, the Zachary Fire Department, Nickels & Dimes band and more. Entrance to the festival is free. Prices for carnival rides and games is $40 for the entire day, $25 for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or $25 for 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. www.zfest.us
