Scott police chief plans to seek election to fourth term

Scott Police Chief Chad Leger announced this week that he will seek election to a fourth consecutive term in the fall 2014 election.

Leger, 47, was first elected in 2003.

“During my three terms in office, we, the Scott Police Department, have continued to raise the bar in providing professional law enforcement through well-trained, competent police officers who make the safety of everyone in Scott their first priority,” Leger said in the announcement notice.
