Lt. Col. Bobby Webre, chief of criminal operations for the sheriff’s office, said an armed man robbed the Red River Bank at the intersection of La. 74 and La. 73 at 1:10 p.m. Deputies initially ordered a lockdown of Dutchtown Elementary, Middle and High schools because they thought the robber fled on foot. But, investigators lifted the lockdown 20 minutes later after learning the robber fled in a car, Webre said. He said investigators believe there may be a second person involved who was driving the car. There are no reports of any injuries.
