William Joseph Folse Jr., 51, faces up to five years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine after pleading guilty before U.S. District Magistrate Judge C. Michael Hill on Wednesday. Folse admitted to applying for disability in the 1990s after a “slip and fall accident” and to working at a restaurant since 1998 while receiving federal disability payments, Finley said. She said Folse received $199,007 in Social Security benefits while making more than $12,000 a year at the restaurant. He is scheduled to be sentenced May 16.
