Kentwood issues boil water advisor over low pressure Kentwood issues boil water advisor over low pressure Florida Parishes bureau| Jan. 15, 2014 Comments KENTWOOD — This town issued a boil water advisory Wednesday morning because of low water pressure levels throughout the town, Kentwood Mayor Harold Smith said. Officials are not sure when the advisory will end, Smith said. The pressure has to rise to a certain point and water samples must be submitted for analysis before it can be lifted. The advisory is only a precaution because of the low water pressure, Smith said. The town has been dealing with low water pressure issues since the recent cold snap began. Residents should bring their water to a rolling boil for a minute before consuming it, Smith said.
