PRAIRIEVILLE — Ascension Parish sheriff’s deputies arrested four people on drug counts following a narcotics investigation into illegal drug sales from a Prairieville home, the Sheriff’s Office reported Tuesday.
Deputies learned Dec. 5 that illegal narcotics were being sold from the home of Chrystal Carter, 31, 17264 La. 929, Prairieville, sheriff’s Maj. Kevin Hanna said in a news release.
Deputies searched the house Friday and seized methamphetamine, heroin, synthetic cannabis and legend drugs, Hanna said.
Carter and three others were in the home and were arrested on the following counts, Hanna said:
- Carter, single counts of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and two counts possession of a legend drug.
- Laura Aucoin, 27, 3480 Lucy Lane, Geismar, single counts of possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
- Cabot Random Black, 32, 12469 La. 44, Gonzales, single counts of possession of heroin, synthetic cannabinoids and drug paraphernalia.
- Ahren Seaton, 36, 324 W. New River Road, Gonzales, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Carter and Aucoin were released from the Ascension Parish Jail after posting bail of $40,342.50 and $35,342.50, respectively, Hanna said.
Black and Seaton remained in jail Tuesday with bail of $36,085 and $40,342.50, respectively.
