Lafayette police early Wednesday arrested the alleged gunman who held up a West Willow Street credit union on Dec. 10, officials said.

Jamikal Phillips, 17, of Lafayette, was found at a Lafayette hotel and booked into the parish Correctional Center at 3:30 a.m. on one count of armed robbery, Cpl. Paul Mouton said in a release.

Phillips’ arrest follows other arrests made on Monday, when Ronald Taylor Jr. and Roderick R. Cormier were booked on one count each of principal to armed robbery.

Phillips on Dec. 10 reportedly walked into the Section 705 Federal Credit Union wearing a mask, pulled a gun, demanded money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
