LAFAYETTE — The Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and Greater New Orleans Inc. will hold a forum on national flood insurance reform at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4 at the Petroleum Club, 111 Heymann Blvd.
The “Food for Thought” forum will focus on the Biggert-Waters Act and will include a discussion on the proposed Homeowner Flood Insurance Affordability Act, a bipartisan bill that seeks to delay premium increases for two years.
Caitlin Berni, director of external affairs for Greater New Orleans Inc., will discuss the impact of the National Flood Insurance Program.
