Voters may cast ballots from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at parish registrars of voters’ offices. In Orleans Parish, voters will decide on two amendments to the home rule charter, including changes to the membership of the Sewerage & Water Board, and choose from among eight candidates for a Traffic Court judgeship and three candidates for Criminal District Court magistrate judge. In Jefferson Parish, the ballot includes a Juvenile Court judgeship election and three proposed millage renewals, for water, sewerage and the School Board. In St. Tammany, voters will consider three millage renewals in Slidell, one millage renewal in Covington, a sales tax renewal in Pearl River, a new millage in Fire Protection District No. 11 and a justice of the peace election in Ward 4. St. Bernard voters will be choosing a 34th Judicial District Court judge. The St. John election is for a 1/4 percent sales tax increase to support the Sheriff’s Office. Early voting locations in Orleans Parish are at City Hall, 1300 Perdido St., Room 1W23; the Algiers Courthouse, 225 Morgan St., Room 105; and the Voting Machines Warehouse, 8870 Chef Menteur Highway. Jefferson voting locations are at 1221 Elmwood Park Blvd., Harahan, Suite 502; 5001 West Bank Expressway, Marrero, Suite C-2; 408 Minor St., Kenner; and Grand Isle Community Center, 3211 La. 1. St. Tammany voters may cast early ballots at 701 N. Columbia St., Covington; 520 Old Spanish Trail, Slidell, fourth floor; and the Parish Council Building, 21490 Koop Drive, Mandeville. There is one location in St. Bernard: 8201 W. Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette, Room 104. St. John voters may go to 1801 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace, Room 112, or 2393 La. 18, Edgard.
