Early voting ends Saturday for Oct. 19 municipal and 5th congressional district elections.
Voting hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at parish registrar of voters’ offices and other designated locations, such as the State Archives in Baton Rouge.
Secretary of State Tom Schedler said early voting has been very light with only 26,558 voters participating as of Thursday evening.

Voters can also utilize the Secretary of State’s smartphone application, GeauxVote Mobile, as well as the GeauxVote.com webpage to find out where to vote, what’s on their ballot and their voting districts.
Elections will be held in 49 parishes on Saturday, Oct. 19 including Acadia, Allen, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberia, Jefferson, Lafayette, Livingston, Orleans, St. Bernard, St. Helena, St. James, St. John, St. Landry, St. Mary, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne, Washington, and West Feliciana.
