Board collects $4 million from minerals lease sale

The Louisiana Mineral and Energy Board collected more than $4 million in lease sale revenue for the state for October.

The board awarded 24 leases covering 15,360 acres, out of 45 nominated tracts covering more than 61,725 acres.

Leases were sold in Bossier, Caddo, Cameron, DeSoto, Jefferson, Lafourche, Plaquemines, St. Charles and Webster parishes parishes.
