Man accused of making nude videos of teen girl
A 34-year-old Belle Chasse man has been arrested on charges he secretly recorded nude videos of his 15-year-old would-be stepdaughter, the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office said.
The man’s identity is being withheld to protect the victim.
The girl’s mother filed a complaint with the Sheriff’s Office on Sept. 25 saying she had found several nude videos of her daughter on a family computer.
The office said the recording appeared to have been made in the girl’s bedroom with a hidden cell phone camera.
The girl’s mother saw her fiancé positioning the camera in some of the recordings.
When she confronted him, he allegedly confessed to making the tapes and said he “was sick back then,” the Sheriff’s Office said. The man packed his belongings and left the home after that.
The videos were made between December 2012 and June 2013, when the victim was 15.
The suspect was arrested Sept. 26 and booked him with video voyeurism. He told investigators he made the videos because he was “curious and sick,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
The man remained jailed Tuesday.
Bond was set at $50,000. If convicted, he can be imprisoned for no fewer than two years and no more than 10 years since the victim was younger than 17.

Gretna man accused of threatening officer
A Gretna man was booked with threatening a public official after he allegedly cursed and threatened to knock out an officer, according to a Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
Another person flagged down the officer on Monday evening in the 300 block of Monroe Street in Gretna.
As the officer was speaking to that person, Lionel Moore, 24, yelled out, “F--- that f------ cop. Why you talking to that b----?” according to the arrest report.
“I will get off this porch and whip your mother f------ ass,” Moore continued.
The officer asked the person who flagged him down to walk away, then asked Moore whom he was speaking to.
“You heard me, cop. I will knock your f------ ass out,” Moore said.
The officer called for backup and arrested Moore. Asked why he spoke to the officer that way, Moore said he thought he could get away with it.
Moore was out of jail Tuesday, according to Sheriff’s Office records.
