Devion D. Keller, 1067 La. 958, Slaughter, was booked into Parish Prison on counts of attempted second-degree murder, illegal discharge of a weapon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to an affidavit of probable cause. Keller’s girlfriend said she drove Keller to a residence in the 15400 block of Tom Drehr Drive late Tuesday, and he fought with a man and then shot another man in leg after the victim intervened, the affidavit says. Keller told detectives he went to the residence, fought with someone and heard gunshots, but he denied possessing or firing a weapon, the affidavit says. BR man accused of two arsons at store A 23-year-old man is accused of setting fire to a stuffed action figure and some hats inside a Target on Sept. 4. Brandon Alcorn, 4944 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd., Apt. 225, was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on simple arson counts, according to an affidavit of probable cause. Surveillance video from the Millerville Road Target shows a man intentionally setting two fires, one in the toy section and another in the men’s clothing section, and later leaving with a woman, the affidavit says. On Tuesday, a store manager saw two people matching the description of the pair entering the store. The manager alerted sheriff’s deputies, who eventually caught up with the pair in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart in the 2100 block of O’Neal Lane, the affidavit says. Alcorn told detectives he set the fires without the knowledge of his girlfriend, the affidavit says. BR man, 22, booked on DWI, other counts Authorities arrested at least one person suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, booking records show. Those booked and the counts against them: Adam Cole, 22, 15315 Profit Ave., first-offense DWI, reckless operation, careless driving and resisting an officer. Compiled from staff reports.
