Livingston Parish sheriff’s deputies were notified around 11 p.m. that two men and a woman had become separated from their group and did not show up for several hours after the group left the river, Sgt. Gene Higginbotham said Friday. The Sheriff’s Office Air Support Division found the three on a sandbar close to the Courtney Bridge in Holden sometime after 7 a.m. Friday, Higginbotham said. The three were treated at the scene by Acadian Ambulance Service medical personnel.
