Jimmy John’s will open its fourth Baton Rouge location with a restaurant on West Lee Drive between Burbank and Nicholson drives early next year.
The site, next to Caliente Mexican Craving, will allow the chain to serve LSU, the Brightside area and the Riverbend subdivision, the company said in a news release.
“The LSU students and community have been a major part of our business ever since we opened our first location on Perkins Road,” Jimmy John’s franchisee Kyle Wilkinson said in a news release. “This location on West Lee will allow us to reach all of the students, residents and employees on the south side of LSU’s campus.”
Construction on the sandwich chain is expected to be completed in six to eight months.
The deal was brokered by Alex Knight from Donnie Jarreau Real Estate Inc., who represents Jimmy John’s, and Ryan Greene from NAI/Latter and Blum, who represents the landlord.
