New Orleans police and fire briefs for June 10, 2013

Investigators are searching for a woman accused of pulling a gun on a daiquiri shop employee on Bourbon Street early Sunday morning after the employee stopped her from stealing a daiquiri.

The incident, which is being investigated as an aggravated assault, occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 400 block of Bourbon Street, a New Orleans Police Department news release says.

After being confronted by the employee, the woman pulled a silver handgun out of a handbag and waved it at the employee, video footage from the shop shows.

The woman, who is described as black, in her mid-to-late 20s with long black hair and is possibly pregnant, was escorted out of the shop by three companions, the release says.
