Vigil held for missing mother Vigil held for missing mother Crystal Dupuis Grebinger Acadiana bureau June 09, 2013 Comments LAFAYETTE — Family and friends of Crystal Dupuis Grebinger will hold a candlelight vigil for the missing mother of four at 7 p.m. Saturday at Girard Park. Grebinger’s aunt Jeanne Savoy, of Baton Rouge, said there is a $10,000 reward for information that leads to finding the woman who was last seen leaving a women’s shelter in Lafayette on Feb. 8. According to a “Help Find Crystal” flier, she stands 5 feet tall, weighs about 130 pounds and liked to wear wigs of different lengths and styles. Grebinger’s family reported her missing Feb. 18 after a child custody hearing earlier that month that she didn’t attend. Savoy said Grebinger’s story would be aired in the next week on a segment of Lafayette CrimeStoppers. Friends have started a Facebook site titled Help Find Crystal Dupuis Grebinger. The vigil at Girard Park in Lafayette on Saturday evening will be the second gathering organized for Grebinger. In April, friends, family and supporters put on a benefit that raised money for the cash award.
