Two people booked
on DWI in EBR

Authorities arrested at least two people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday, booking records show.

Those booked and the counts against them:

Jonathan Smith, 31, 5238 Cadillac St., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and noise ordinance.

Kevin Temple, 25, 13300 Vincent Place, Denham Springs, first-offense DWI, disobeying a red light, battery of a police officer and resisting an officer with force or violence.

Four people arrested
in EBR meth lab case

East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff’s deputies arrested four people Sunday night after responding to a routine complaint and discovering a methamphetamine lab at 21144 Jon Michelle Drive in the northeast part of the parish.

Deputies were called to the Jon Michelle Drive address to investigate a domestic disturbance and found the suspected meth lab, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.

Kurt Browning, 34, 21144 Jon Michelle Drive, was booked with creation of a clandestine lab, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and a bench warrant.

Jessica Geter, 20, 1129 Stone Road, Greensburg, was booked with creation of a clandestine lab and possession of methamphetamine.

Also booked were Matthew Abbott, 30, and Ashley Dixon, 24, also of 21144 Jon Michelle Drive. Abbott and Dixon were both booked with creation of a clandestine lab, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
