COMMUNITY EVENTS

  • BIKE TO WORK WEEK: 7 a.m., North Boulevard Town Square. Riders will receive free Bike to Work items and coffee, be eligible for food specials at participating restaurants and more. Event will end with a bike ride at 5 p.m. to Live After Five concert in Repentance Park.
  • LIVE AFTER FIVE: 5 p.m., Repentance Park, downtown. Live music featuring Chris Leblanc and Friends.
  • “BURSTING THE PIPELINE”: 6 p.m., LSU Student Union Capital Chamber. The lecture, presented by Las Vegas Chief Judge Karen Bennett-Haron, will discuss the challenges of dismantling the school-to-prison pipeline and the contributing factors.   • “ALL THE KING’S MEN”: 7:30 p.m., Reilley Theatre, Tower Drive, LSU campus. Production inspired by the life of Gov. Huey P. Long. Tickets are $28 per adult, $19 per senior/faculty member/staff member and $15 per student. (225) 578-3527.
