Advocate story April 03, 2013 Comments A group of New Orleans women spent their Easter Sunday handing out toys and Easter eggs to children during parades and festivities with an Easter Mass at St. Louis Cathedral sandwiched in between. The women wore old-fashioned Easter bonnets, which made them easy to spot in the large crowds. The parade began at Antoine’s Restaurant on St. Louis Street and ended at St. Louis Cathedral in time for Mass.
