WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. David Vitter, R-La., is hosting a “virtual town hall” on Tuesday for any Louisiana residents who want to participate.
People can join in the town hall that starts at 6:30 p.m. via telephone or the Internet in order to listen to the senator and ask him questions.
“Meeting with Louisianians is one of the most-important parts of my job, and while I travel to every parish every Congress, my virtual town hall meeting will make it possible to introduce my new website to folks across the state,” Vitter said Monday in the announcement. “I’m excited to reach out to Louisianians in this new way and hope that it will make it easier for folks to contact my office and get the help they need.”
Those wanting to reach out online can participate by first visiting http://www.vitter.senate.gov. The call-in phone number is (877) 229-8493 and the PIN number is 111482.
