NOPD: Four shot on Bourbon Street

New Orleans police have released descriptions of three men accused in a quadruple shooting in the 400 block of Bourbon Street around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

Two men and two women were injured in the shooting, Officer Hilal Williams said.

As of Saturday night, one of the victims was listed in guarded condition and the other three were listed in stable condition, Williams said.

The incident began when the victim began arguing with two unidentified men, Officer Frank Robertson said in a news release.

The two men left but then returned with another man and approached the victim, Robertson said. One of the men shot the victim three times before fleeing.

Robertson said the man was shot once in the abdomen, once in the upper thigh and once in the pelvic area. He is listed in guarded condition.

A bystander captured the incident on a video camera, Robertson said.

The footage shows the original argument involving the victim and two men. It shows the men leaving and returning with another man then firing at the victim, Robertson said.

Three other victims also suffered gunshot wounds, Robertson said.

Another man was struck in the buttocks, Robertson said. One woman was hit in the chin and the bottom of her right foot, and another woman was hit in the toe, he said.

Anyone with information regarding this incident can contact Detective Michael Flores at (504) 658-6707 or Mflores@nola.gov, or call CrimeStoppers at (504) 822-1111.

N.O. had better throw the book at these bums. tourist is the major industry there and i can tell you from my experience in miami, when there was robbery & shooting of tourist. that people quit coming (the bad guys figured tourist wouldn't come back for all the trials, appeals etc--no witness no crime). while N.O. and miami are unique and fun to visit, there are other places to go and go they will. once the bad guys were caught the tourist slowly returned but you can NEVER recoup the loss dollars.
