Houston-based engineering company Burrow Global LLC has acquired Baton Rouge-based Industrial Engineering Management Inc.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed in a news release from Burrow.
Industrial Engineering Management began operating in mid-2009 and has 90-plus full-time employees. The company’s services include process/conceptual design; plant automation; engineering and design; and construction management, according to the news release.
Industrial Engineering’s major focus is on exploration and production companies and pipeline firms. The company, which also has a Nassau Bay, Texas, office, also serves the refining and petrochemical industries.
Under the agreement finalized Monday, Burrow acquired assets and stock of Industrial Engineering and its shareholders became shareholders of Burrow, the company said.
Industrial Engineering was owned by Craig Borel, Samantha Wilds, Jennifer Crawford and Barry Boudreaux, the news release said. The company started in 2009 with eight employees.
Burrow is an engineering, construction and industrial services company employing 960 people with customers worldwide.
The acquisition gives Burrow 12 domestic offices. Its other locations are in Beaumont, Houston, Deer Park, Pasadena, Port Arthur, Mont Belvieu, Crystal City, Henderson and Yoakum, Texas; and Tulsa, Okla. Burrow also has two fabrication facilities in Crystal City and Henderson.
Burrow Global said it expects its 2012 revenue to top $150 million. The Industrial Engineering acquisition is expected to boost Burrow’s annual revenue to more than $200 million.
