Light turnout for election

A light voter turnout in Baton Rouge and around the state sent Charles Boustany back to Congress and Judge Jeff Hughes to the Louisiana Supreme Court.
A number of runoff races and propositions were on Saturday’s ballot including the Dist. 3 race for Congress, La. Supreme Court seats, Court of Appeals and local races and propositions on crime districts and school taxes.
