The 2012 Denham Springs Christmas Parade will roll at 2 p.m. Saturday beginning at Denham Springs High School and ending around 4 p.m. at U.S. 190 and Veterans Boulevard, according to city police.

At noon, officers will close North Range Avenue from Cockerham Road to Florida Avenue and Hummel Street from Florida Avenue to North Range Avenue.

These streets will remain closed until the end of the parade.

Florida Avenue will be closed from Range Avenue to Veterans Boulevard while the parade is running.

One person who thinks its important to vote is Jeff Hughes. The turnout willbe so low tomorrow that every vote matters. Make sure you get out and vote. Make sure you get all your people out to vote. It's that important.
