Giambelluca, has been named the new president of Creighton Preparatory School, the Jesuit high school in Omaha, Neb., said the Rev. Raymond Fitzgerald, S.J., president of Jesuit New Orleans. Giambelluca is a 1982 alumnus of Jesuit High School and began his 12th year as principal at the start of the 2012-13 school year. He will assume his duties as president of Creighton Prep at the end of the current academic year. “I am grateful for Michael’s service to Jesuit and wish him all the best in his new leadership position as president,” Fitzgerald said. “Michael has enthusiastically advanced the mission of Jesuit education here, especially in the challenging years following Hurricane Katrina.” Fitzgerald has appointed a search committee to assist him in the process of selecting the next principal of Jesuit.
