BROUSSARD — The body of a missing Broussard woman was found Tuesday morning in an overgrown area where she died after taking her own life, Broussard Police Chief Brannon Decou said in a news release.
Police had launched a missing persons investigation Friday to locate Paulette Thibodeaux, 45, who was last seen Nov. 7 by her friends and family.
A search team found her body at about 10:50 a.m. Tuesday in an overgrown area off Heart D Farm Road with a “self-inflicted fatal injury,” Decou said in the news release.
