Teen indicted in Curtis Street slaying Teen indicted in Curtis Street slaying Advocate staff report Nov. 08, 2012 Comments A Baton Rouge teenager was indicted Wednesday in the Aug. 16 shooting death of an 18-year-old man on Curtis Street. An East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury charged Izzamon Jackson, 17, 782 New Rafe Meyer Road, with second-degree murder in the slaying of Ty O’Brian Porter. Jackson is accused of fatally shooting Porter during a dispute outside Porter’s home in the 1800 block of Curtis, Baton Rouge police have said. Jackson could be sentenced to life in prison if convicted as charged. His case has been assigned to state District Judge Trudy White.
