According to an arrest report, the police were called out to a hotel in the 4400 block of Hearst Avenue after Jorge Montoya, 56, reported being stabbed during a kidnapping involving two suspects. The man initially told deputies that a woman forced him to drive her to the hotel at knifepoint, and then she and a male accomplice stabbed him when he had no money. He said the duo fled on foot.
However, police began questioning the man and found inconsistencies in story. Montoya later admitted to picking up a transvestite near his job on Tulane Avenue in New Orleans and providing that suspect a ride to Metairie. Montoya said the prostitute offered him oral sex in the car, but he refused. He claims they argued during the ride, and the prostitute stabbed him later because he didn’t have any money.
