Yappy Halloween

Halloween came early for more than 300 attendees who strutted their stuff and came to see and be seen around downtown Baton Rouge during the third annual Yelp! Baton Rouge Yappy Halloween Run and Costume Stroll on Saturday.

Awards were handed out for Best Look Alike, Most Creative Costume, Funniest Costume, Scariest Costume and Best Costume depicting south Louisiana.

But the real winners were the dogs available for adoption that found new, loving homes thanks to Yelp!, the nonprofit no-kill animal welfare organization. The event raised $2,400.
