Hammond man arrested in child pornography investigation

Detectives booked a Hammond man with possessing child pornography, State Police reported Friday.

After a search of the man’s apartment, detectives confiscated eight computers and found “14 electronic files containing images and videos indicative of child pornography,” according to a State Police news release.

Troopers booked Robert Bertoniere, 28, on 14 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles, said Nick Manale, spokesman for State Police Troop L.
