Ethel man booked with rape

CLINTON — East Feliciana Parish sheriff’s deputies arrested an Ethel man Tuesday night after investigating a woman’s complaint that he forced her to have sexual intercourse against her will.
Detective Don McKey said Clyde Barnes Jr., 40, 6355 Kinnon Lane, Ethel, was booked at the parish jail on a simple rape count.
The woman told deputies the incident occurred on Monday, McKey said.
