Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Nacher also has offices in Lafayette. The company services offshore rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and on the Pacific Coast. Acquiring Nacher will allow Mistras Group to break into “a robust offshore market” that includes more than 3,800 offshore platforms in the Gulf region, along with fabrication facilities that support the rigs and platforms, said Mistras Chairman, CEO and President Sotirios J. Vahaviolos. Nacher will continue to be managed by Chris Fontenot, its CEO, and Derek Fontenot, president and chief operating officer. Mistras, whose headquarters are in Princeton Junction, New Jersey, provides services used to evaluate the structural integrity of critical energy, industrial and public infrastructure.
