“IN THE HEIGHTS” OPEN REHEARSAL AND PREVIEW: 5:30 p.m., Shaw Center for the Arts, The Gallery at Manship Theatre and Hartley/Vey Workshop, 100 Lafayette St. New Venture Theatre will present an open rehearsal of its upcoming musical production “In the Heights” at the Hartley/Vey Workshop. Preceding the rehearsal will be a discussion by Director Greg Williams Jr. in the gallery. Guests can enjoy cocktails from the bar, artwork from the Spanish artist, Belin, and an indepth talk on “In the Heights.” Admission is free. Register on the event’s facebook page.
