BASIC BRIDGE CLASS: 10:30 a.m., East Baton Rouge Parish Library Scotlandville Branch, 7373 Scenic Highway. Registration is required by calling (225) 354-7540.

TECH TUESDAY: 5:30 p.m., North Boulevard Town Square, downtown. The Baton Rouge Area Chamber will host a networking event for the local technology community. The topic will be the technology behind the Town Square Beacon. There will be complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. Attire is business casual. DOWNTOWN BATON ROUGE CIVIC ASSOCIATION SOCIAL: 6:30 p.m., The Camelot Club, 21st floor of Chase Bank Building’s South Tower, 451 Florida St. The social will feature free beer and wine courtesy of the Camelot Club and a cash bar for cocktails. It is open to anyone interested in joining DBRCA, as well as current members, who can pick up their discount cards and find out where they can use them. Attire is business casual. “DANCING IN JAFFA”: 7 p.m., Manship Theatre, Shaw Center for the Arts, 100 Lafayette St. The documentary follows Pierre Dulaine, a renowned ballroom dancer who takes his Dancing Classrooms program back to his hometown, Jaffa, to teach Jewish and Palestinian Israelis to dance together.
