Lafayette man struck, killed on Evangeline Thruway Lafayette man struck, killed on Evangeline Thruway Advocate staff report July 17, 2014 Comments LAFAYETTE — A pedestrian walking on the service road in the 2500 block Southeast Evangeline Thruway was struck by two cars Thursday night and killed, officials said. Justin Bradley, 27, of Lafayette, was hit by a northbound 2006 Toyota Corolla, then hit again when he landed in front of a northbound 2000 GMC pickup truck, Lafayette police Cpl. Paul Mouton said. Bradley died at the scene of the accident, which occurred at around 9:20 p.m. No one else was injured, and there are no charges pending currently, Mouton said. An investigation continues.
