The men broke into vending machines on different floors of the hotel July 1 but pocketed only four quarters because the machines had just been emptied, Gonzales police said. Police released hotel security camera photographs Thursday of the two men in the hotel, including a man who walked into the hotel lobby hiding a pry bar under his dark shirt. Police Detective Sgt. Steven Nethken said Thursday that man damaged the machines while the other man, who was wearing a hat and a yellow shirt, acted as a lookout.
