BR man booked in forcible rape of juvenile

A Baton Rouge man accused of trying to have sex with a 14-year-old girl while he was drunk in April has been arrested.

The victim told sheriff’s deputies that Bobby T. Keys Jr., 22, was drunk when he tried to kiss her, the arrest warrant says. Then he pulled her clothes down and tried to have sex with her.

She pushed him away and locked herself in the bathroom, the warrant says. When she opened the door a little while later, she said, Keys was passed out on the couch.

She said he also tried kissing her other times between March and May, the warrant says.

Keys told deputies the incident never happened and the only contact he had with the victim was what he called a “church hug,” the warrant says.

Keys, 16441 S. Harrell’s Ferry Road, was booked into Parish Prison on counts of forcible rape and indecent behavior with juveniles.
