BRPD: Motorcyclist killed in hit-and-run accident BRPD: Motorcyclist killed in hit-and-run accident Advocate staff report June 20, 2014 Comments Baton Rouge traffic homicide detectives are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a motorcyclist dead early Friday. Eric Fabre, 20, 1101 Mary Kevin Drive in Slidell, died at the scene in the 9700 block of Airline Highway. Patrol officers responded just before 1 a.m. and found Fabre lying unresponsive in the roadway at Airline Highway and Old Hammond Highway, police said in a press release. “According to a witness, a fleeing vehicle is possibly a red-or maroon-colored Chrysler 300 with front end damage,” Cpl. Don Coppola said. The Chrysler fled northward before police arrived, police said.
