Searcy County Sheriff Donald Ragland says David Donaldson of New Orleans drowned Monday afternoon in the Robinson Hole area of the river near Woolum. Ragland says Donaldson suffered from epilepsy and apparently had a seizure while in water about 20 to 25 feet deep. Donaldson’s body was recovered later Monday night. The sheriff says Donaldson was traveling with his family on a multi-day hiking and canoeing trip with his son’s Boy Scout troop.
