Flot said that about 11:20 p.m. officers were dispatched to a residence in the 6200 block of Eads Street. He said that detectives learned gunfire had erupted in the house during an argument at the party. There was at least one shooter, according to Flot. Flot said one of the victims, a 15-year-old male, later died at a hospital. Four females, between the ages of 19 and 30, were shot, Flot said. Three of those suffered non life-threatening injuries. One of the women underwent surgery. Flot said three males, between the ages of 22 and 25, also suffered non life-threatening injuries. Police have yet to identify a suspect in the shooting, according to Flot. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
