Unbuckled driver thrown, killed Unbuckled driver thrown, killed Advocate staff report| May 25, 2014 Comments An unrestrained driver lost control of his car on Greenwell Springs Road early Saturday, veered off the road and crashed into a utility pole, State Police said. Tyler R. Carter, 23, Central, died in the crash about 2:15 a.m. Saturday on Greenwell Springs Road south of Morgan Road, Trooper First Class Jared L. Sandifer said in a news release. Carter was in a 2013 Hyundai Genesis southbound on Greenwell Springs Road when he shot across the center line and left the road to the right, the release says. Carter was thrown when his car hit the utility pole. Driver impairment is unknown, the release says, but a toxicology sample was taken for analysis.
