Robert man accused of illegal firearms sales surrenders Tuesday

A Robert man wanted on charges of illegal firearms sales surrendered to authorities Tuesday.

Devin L. Powell, 23, was wanted on numerous outstanding warrants including four counts of felony possession of a firearm, one count of theft and one count of burglary, Tangipahoa Parish sheriff’s spokeswoman Dawn Panepinto said.

An investigation also revealed Powell’s involvement in the sale of illegal firearms in the parish, Panepinto said.

Powell surrendered to sheriff’s deputies without incident Tuesday afternoon, Panepinto said.
