BR man accused in rape of girl, 6

Baton Rouge police on Wednesday arrested a 34-year-old man in the rape of a 6-year-old girl.

Police booked Oderra Holmes, 1912 America St., Baton Rouge, into Parish Prison on a count of aggravated rape.

The girl reported to police that Holmes told her to go into the bathroom late Tuesday where he walked in with his pants down and forced her to perform oral sex, the affidavit of probable cause says.

Holmes denied the incident occurred, the affidavit says.

Holmes pleaded guilty in October 2010 to forcible rape and was sentenced to six months in Parish Prison with credit for time served.
