Michael Rodrigue, 54, of Donaldsonville, was found Sunday by deputies responding to reports of a man lying on the ground in the area of Claiborne and Houmas streets, the Sheriff’s Office reported. There was no information available from the Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday evening on the time of day the man was found. Rodrigue was taken to an area hospital where he died. No foul play is suspected at this time, but the Sheriff’s Office is investigating. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, Lt. Col. Bobby Webre said.
