The chain has a lease on the 25,000-square-foot space at 6835 Siegen Lane that had been formerly occupied by Conn’s, said Austin Earhart, an agent with Beau Box Commercial Real Estate, who handles leasing for the center. HomeGoods recently applied for a building permit to refurbish the space. HomeGoods, which is owned by T.J. Maxx, specializes in discounted items such as lamps, accent furniture, bedding, rugs and wall décor. There are about 420 HomeGoods stores in the U.S., including one on U.S. 190 in Mandeville.
