Man accused of threatening cashier with knife Man accused of threatening cashier with knife | Advocate staff report April 29, 2014 Comments A Zachary man was arrested Monday after he pulled a knife on a cashier when he was asked to pay for glow sticks he had picked up at a store in Baker. Christopher Moore, 51, 22356 Sutter Road, is in Parish Prison on a count of attempted armed robbery and two counts aggravated assault. The cashier at the Dollar Tree, 328 Main St., Baker, said Moore, whose skin was red and eyes blood shot and glassy, came to the counter Monday afternoon, pulled a silver knife from his pocket and threatened her when she asked him to purchase the glow sticks, according to an affidavit of probable cause. She managed to persuade him to hand over the knife and leave the merchandise without incident, according to the affidavit. Baker Police soon after found him at a nearby hotel, took him back to the Dollar Tree for identification purposes and then booked him, according to the affidavit.
