Consolidated School District No. 1 Proposition No. 2 To renew a 10-year, 1.86-mill property tax generating $5.9 million a year for employee salaries and benefits. East Side Fire Protection District No. 5 Proposition To renew a 10-year, 7.5-mill property tax generating $635,000 a year for hiring, training and equipping personnel and the development, operation and maintenance of the fire protection facilities. Fire Protection District 6 Proposition To renew a 10-year, 10-mill property tax generating $264,000 a year for fire protection facilities, including the cost of obtaining water for fire protection purposes and fire hydrants. LIVINGSTON PARISH School District No. 4 Proposition To incur debt and issue up to $25 million in bonds for school improvements, repayable by property taxes with an estimated increase of 16.83 mills in the first year of issue above the 9.770 mills currently levied. TANGIPAHOA PARISH Consolidated School District No. 1 Proposition To levy a 10-year, 15-mill property tax expected to generate $3.6 million a year for: K-12 schools in Hammond; accelerated classes, visual and performing arts programs, International Baccalaureate programs, Montessori education, communication magnet programs, STEM extended day and other educational programs; and salaries and benefits of teachers and other public school personnel for those programs. WEST FELICIANA PARISH Parishwide Consolidated School District No. 1 Proposition To levy a 10-year, 14-mill property tax expected to generate $3.8 million a year for additional support to the public schools and for any other lawful corporate purpose of the district, including school construction and maintenance, and salaries and benefits of school district personnel.
