MULTIPARISH

City of Eunice Proposition

(Acadia and St. Landry parishes)

To rededicate the proceeds of a 1 percent sales tax approved by voters May 22, 1962, and Feb. 28, 1967, and generating $2 million a year, so no more than 10 percent of the revenue can be used in each fiscal year for general municipal purposes in the event unbudgeted emergency expenses are incurred by the city that year.

ACADIA PARISH

Parishwide Library Proposition

To renew a 10-year, 4.25-mill property tax generating $1.6 million a year for library operations and maintenance.

Parishwide Senior Citizen Programs Proposition

To renew a 10-year, 1.5-mill property tax generating $580,000 a year for services to the elderly, including senior citizen centers.

IBERIA PARISH

Parishwide Proposition

To levy a 10-year, half-cent sales tax expected to generate $7.1 million a year for roads and bridges, with the proceeds to be funded into bonds, provided that the percentage of revenue spent each year in the municipalities not be less than the proportion of the population of the municipality to the population of the parish according to the 2010 U.S. Census.
