Authorities: Missing boy and girl from St. Landry could be in New Orleans area

Law agencies statewide have been alerted about a pair of Acadiana-area youths who suffer from severe depression and haven’t been seen since Sunday night, officials said.

Authorities said Tuesday that Ariel Blaze Robin, 12, and Henry Bieber Jr., 15, might be in the New Orleans area, the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office and State Police said in releases.

Sheriff’s Capt. Megan Vizena said authorities aren’t sure where the youths are.

“We’re grasping for any good leads we get,” she said.

Robin was last seen running from her Wenck Street home in Leonville toward a white 2001 Mercury Sable, which authorities said was driven by Bieber. The car left the area at 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

Robin is white, 5 feet tall with light brown hair and hazel eyes. Bieber is white with light brown hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call St. Landry Crime Stoppers at (337) 948-TIPS or the Sheriff’s Office at (337) 948-6516.
